Description Alex Efros 2023-02-12 01:57:45 UTC
# cd /etc/netdata
# ./edit-config
ERROR: Unable to find stock config directory.

At a glance it looks like script expects it data in /usr/lib while it was installed into /usr/lib64. BTW, files installed there are not 64-bit binaries, so probably they should be in /usr/lib instead.

Also, it looks like /etc/conf.d/netdata is missing (/etc/init.d/netdata tries to use a lot of env vars but no one provides these vars).

Also /usr/lib64/netdata/conf.d/go.d/ is missing.

Looks like these should be installed from another source (maybe we need extra packages for these, and make netdata package depends on them). See https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/agent/packaging/installer/methods/source#additional-components

Still a problem with 1.39.1.
