Bart Oldeman <bartoldeman@users.sourceforge.net>: "Also 1.2.0 is outdated. If that is what gentoo still ships you should file a bug report with them, too." man dosemu.bin says that DOSEMU_HDIMAGE_DIR should be honored by either dosemu or at least dosemu.bin: "Bypass the default directory for bootdirectory and hdimages (DOSEMU_HDIMAGE_DIR) and use this directory instead [...]" I have tried DOSEMU_HDIMAGE_DIR=/home/clock/test/dosemu/drives/ dosemu.bin DOSEMU_HDIMAGE_DIR=/home/clock/test/dosemu/drives/ dosemu and D: wasn't mapped according to the images. When ran this: dosemu -quiet -f ../dosemu/.dosemurc D: was correcly mapped. Contents of ../dosemu/.dosemurc: $_hdimage="home/clock/test/dosemu/drives/*" I suggest this to be either fixed in dosemu or removed from the manpage. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
