We have a really nice setup for audio-overlay. It appears to be challenging these days to get someone with high-level privs to stop by and approve PRs, which are badly needed to fix obsolete ebuilds with EAPI6, as well as other issues. Life happens, it's all good, but if there's any chance I - or someone else - could get that kind of access, it would be very helpful. I'm posting this bug as per Neddy's suggestion in the Gentoo Studio sticky. I'm happy to take on the job. We've got one or two people consistently submitting PRs, but with no way to move them along. Reproducible: Always
I am not sure, if I understand this ticket properly. The organization of permissions and PRs is part of the overlay. see also https://github.com/gentoo-audio/audio-overlay/issues/507
I do not know how to help you in the bug tracker. Our bug tracker is rather for specific bugs in ebuilds. I think you need rather general advice on running own overlays using guru and discuss things to find your perfect way. I suggest you think about the following options and discuss these with the other people in the overlay * you could continue to maintain the ebuilds in guru * make your own overlay * join IRC and discuss things there (especially #gentoo-dev-help) closing here.
