and that's why i can always see an error below during my boot although the slim starts and works properly: ERROR: your xdm value is invalid. no slim executable could be found on your system. there is a missing case section with "slim" in the /etc/init.d/display-manager so "*)" is always applied and prints the error.

This appears to have been fixed in 1.1.2, with an update to the "everything else" case.
