readcd -c2scan show some bug, then no progress and totally block IDE bus (I have HDD on same bus), while load is increasing. I stopped it after more that 6 minutes by ejecting CD. Then of course more error appears ... refering to sector numbers under 100. I can reproduce the bug on my system. addr increases, but stops at some point. I will test it on my scsi-drives, if it is an ata-problem.
readcd -c2scan works with one of my two SCSI-drives. So there seems to be a problem on that bus as well. I can't tell where exactly the problem exists. Probably you may want to ask the Author of readcd/cdrtools.
