Description Ivan Yosifov 2005-04-14 06:14:37 UTC
I set screensaver to blank screen. I click Desktop->Lock Screen, the display locks ok.
I disable screensaver. I click Desktop->Lock Screen, nothing happens.
I understand that screen-saving and locking are handled by the same program, but they really are different things. I may not want to have a screensaver, this should not prevent me from locking the display.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.disable screensaver
2.try to lock the screen

There are so many bugs upstream about it and is somehow GNOME design issue, so this shouldn't block GNOME 2.10 release
