Yes, I'm working on it. No need to file an enhancement request this soon after a release. We watch the announce lists as well.
Comment 2 Fabio Rossi 2005-04-14 07:40:07 UTC
Ok, thanks
Comment 3 boris64 2005-05-15 10:29:00 UTC
still workin' on it?
It's been a month since 2.9.1 has been released.
Comment 4 Henrik Brix Andersen 2005-05-15 10:37:19 UTC
Yes. A preliminary ebuild for the user-space utils can be found in my portage overlay at http://dev.gentoo.org/~brix/files/overlay/sys-apps/lm_sensors/

I'm working on splitting the kernel modules to seperate ebuilds using the linux-mod.eclass to honor our new external kernel module ebuild policy.

I wonder if you might include an init.d script for starting the sensord in the
next ebuild - I could attach my current one if you'd like.

Yes, good idea. Please attach your current sensord init script, and I will
consider it for 2.9.1.

Created attachment 60656 [details]
/etc/init.d/sensord

I've come up with the following init script, $SENSORD_OPTIONS being empty by
default (set in /etc/conf.d/sensord).

Let me know if your init script has more features.

Added sys-apps/lm_sensors-2.9.1. Thank you for reporting this.

I am sorry it took so long, hopefully the new and improved ebuild was worth
waiting for... :)
