This bug was originally reported at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60400 , it was then added to the macos profile package.mask.

I subsequently filed this bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84732 asking for it to be removed from package.mask because the bug was fixed in subsequent versions (1.3.5+). The save bug was not resolved for 1.3.4, and this particular version of nano is marked stable on ppc-macos

Can we add app-editors/nano-1.3.4 to package.mask, and let users merge 1.3.5/6 as unstable packages?
