i installed the prism2_usb module from linux-wlan-ng-0.2.1_pre20.
when i have plugged the usb-wlan-device while booting the computer, the system freezes during running the coldplug-script(usb).
if i start the system without the wlan-device und plug in the device after booting, hotplugging works without problems. 

i'am running gentoo-sources-2.6.11-r4 and udev

what can i do to solve this problem?

Try the latest 0.2.2 version and report if the problem still exists.
