Hi, the postgres 8 ebuild does not include the JDBC driver. And the jdbc3-postgresql build only goes up to version 7.3. I asked some of the guys at the forums and they recommended that I open a bug here.

The Postgres 8 JDBC driver can be downloaded separately here: http://jdbc.postgresql.org/download/postgresql-8.0-311.jdbc3.jar

It´s in the portage tree (~x86). If you can´t find it, please emerge sync.
