What browser (including the exact version)? What font? More details are definitely needed. Thanks.
sorry for the lack of info mozilla-firefox 1.0.2 compiled from sources (64bit) the problem arises with default fixed-widht font (monospace) but i tried it with courier (default fonts installed by xorg) and the behaviour does not change.
Well, I see the same problem with FF 1.0.2 on Windows. Seems like upstream bug.
Still broken with 1.5, even on Windows. Please, report this issue UPSTREAM if it has not been reported yet (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/) and post the URL here. Thanks.
