www-servers/nginx-1.23.1-r1 no longer exists in the gentoo repo.

You appear to be using a gentoo repo that is several months out of date. Please sync your gentoo repo and re-open this bug if you still experience the problem.

Same output with www-servers/nginx-1.23.2 for armv7a

Cross-compiling nginx is a non-starter without a ton of third party patches. Our package doesn't even have a dedicated maintainer, so I feel we have to say we cannot address this. I'm resolving this as UPSTREAM, although I don't expect them to address it. I'm sure they've been asked about it plenty of times.
