When I emerge the newest version of ion3 (20050322), my xserver regularly crashes (linke once every 3 hours). I had to downgrade to (20050116) and everything is sweet again.

Thanks
Zeno

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
Run xorg (6.8.2-r1) and ion3 (20050322)

Actual Results:
Xorg crashes.

Expected Results:
no Crash.

same here but on a x86.
Comment 2 Tom Payne (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-13 11:00:52 UTC
This is almost certainly a bug in ion3, not in the Gentoo ebuild. Please try the latest release of ion3 (20040502, now in Portage). If you still have the same problem then please re-open this bug with more information about the crash (e.g. the contents of the /var/log/Xorg.0.log file) or report it on the ion3 mailing list ( https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/ion-general ).

And it's certainly not a blocker bug!
