This is intended more as a hint than a real bug. Currently, gui-wm/dwl features two "next" branches: - 9999 basing upon WLROOTS_SLOT="0/16" - 9999-r1 basing upon WLROOTS_SLOT="0/9999" gui-apps/somebar-9999:0 seems to be coded against "0/16" an - with dwl-9999 - works perfectly well. With dwl-9999-r1, it runs against a NEXT VERSION MISMATCH: error in client communication (pid 10187) wl_registry@2: error 0: invalid version for global zwlr_layer_shell_v1 (19): have 3, wanted 4 error: wl_display_dispatch failed, aborting SUGGESTION: o) limit gui-apps/somebar-9999:0 to WLROOTS_SLOT="0/16" o) later on, similar to dwl-9999-r1, add a "gui-apps/somebar-9999-r1:0" Reproducible: Always
If inappropriate, please be so kind to re-assign "Assignee". Thanks a lot! Kind regards
