this line is wrong:
RDEPEND="${DEPEND}"

no ebuild should ever have that

at any rate, i want bglibs changed before this ebuild gets added

version 0.92, which renders the compile-fix patch unnecessary, has been 
released.  
 
rename and remove the src_unpack() function

this is a dummy startup script. as syslogread would normally be started from
svscan no actual startup script is needed... but other startup scripts need to
have a logger - so that this dummy provides...

svscan run files will follow sometime
