When a urxvt window using -tr or -ip is switched to in Ion2, the window bar for that pane disappears. You can right-click where the window bar would be, or switch to/from the offending pane to cause the window bar to reappear. Additionally, this doesn't always happen, instead about 90% of the time. To reproduce, run urxvt with the -ip or -tr switch in an Ion2 session, then switch from and back to the urxvt window. You may have to switch from/to the window two or three times for it to happen. FWIW, this doesn't happen with aterm -tr.
Is it still reproducible in rxvt-unicode-7.7 ?
Yes, still happens with 7.7-r2. Also, it happens in x11-wm/ion3 as well.
Try rxvt-unicode-8.2 please.

8.2 still shows the same problem, although nowhere near as often.
Shrug; x11-wm/ion* is gone. Anyway, try with 8.9.
