Description Yves Bellefeuille 2005-04-10 11:35:16 UTC
The md5sum check file for the minimal installation CD assumes that the file name for the CD is install-x86-2005.0-minimal.iso. It should be install-x86-minimal-2005.0.iso (note that "2005.0" and "minimal" are reversed) for the md5sum command to work, and to agree with the information in the Installing Gentoo documentation, section 2c.

Reproducible: Always

Yeah... we're going to get this fixed... it was a slight communications error.

Jeff: can we get the md5/asc copied from the bittorrent server for the universal/minimal ISO images for x86 and pushed out to the mirrors? This will resolve all the reports we've had from the md5/signature being bad.
