The ebuild for ACME
Comment 2 Spider (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-10-07 14:54:21 UTC
--Bugs:

 gnome-base/libgnomeui
version 2.0 or 2.1/2.2 ?

gnome-base/libglade
0.17, 2.0 or 2.1/2.2 ?

does it really need pkg-config to run?

--suggestions:
why are you using "configure --host=${CHOST} ?? why not econf?

make DESTDIR.. or einstall?

--conclusions:

are there pressing reasons and severe bugs that require us to add this now,
instead of after the freeze?
Comment 3 Joe Tennies 2002-10-07 17:40:13 UTC
Sorry, I forgot about the code freeze. It's just one of those "nicities" that
people usually complain about.

I also forgot libglade was the name used for GNOME1's glade.

Both libgnomeui and libglade are 2.0 or higher.
pkg-config is probably only required for compiling it.

As far as the style of the ebuild, it's based off gnome-extra/apotheke. Even if
this doesn't get added, perhaps that one should get looked at and changed to the
correct style.

np, just revise it and we'll take a look at the last ebuild you want us to :)

Comment 6 Joe Tennies 2002-10-12 09:51:50 UTC
I updated the ACME ebuild. The -r1 didn't work. I got the style of the emake
and econf now though. Please check the style to see it's correct.
