I think it's good to go (I'd be fine with even doing 2.1.7 now tbh). From #zfsonlinux: [17:40:21] <ryao> sam_, gyakovlev: Would one of you stabilize 2.1.6 and kick out 2.1.5 from the tree? 2.1.5 has a use after free bug in the btree code. The race is very rarely lost, but it can cause all sorts of havoc when it is lost and it is hard to diagnose. [17:41:27] <ryao> It is bad enough that FreeBSD did an erratum patch for it after I suggested it: https://www.freebsd.org/security/advisories/FreeBSD-EN-22:21.zfs.asc
let's bake 2.1.7 a bit more, maybe 2 week tops. I want to repro that build failure on arm64. just need to build a 6.x kernel for that.
arm64 and ppc64 done
amd64 done and 2.1.5 nuked.
