As i am also using debian its really confusing that the arguments are different for the same actions. dpkg -S == qpkg -f dpkg -L == qpkg -l ... It would be nice to have a wrapper tool (gpkg) that translates the debian style into gentoo style and uses qpkg. Or to have a configfile where you set the style to debian. As debian was first gentoo should make this step. I guess many people using both distris have this problem. dpkg und qpkg are somewhere in my most read manpages top 5 only because of this.
