Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.update the system (I use only stable packages)
2.start gnome
3.

Actual Results:
see Details.

Comment 1 Joe McCann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-09 03:55:36 UTC
is gnome-panel running and just not displaying anything? what happens when you manually run gnome-panel? Is gnome-panel set to start when the session does?
Comment 2 Christian Seifert 2005-04-10 04:50:09 UTC
starting gnome-panel from a terminal-window in gnome and than restart the Xserver fixed it.
