I updated portage yesterday but I cannot find an ebuild for hypermail hypermail project home page is : http://www.hypermail-project.org/ It's a useful application that archives email messages in html pages. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge -S hypermail 2.emerge -S Hypermail 3. Actual Results: portage tells me that there isn't any ebuild for hypermail Expected Results: maybe it should provide me an ebuild :) Portage 2.0.51.19 (default-linux/x86/2005.0, gcc-3.3.5, glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r1, 2.6.11-gentoo-r5 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.11-gentoo-r5 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 Python: dev-lang/python-2.3.4-r1 [2.3.4 (#1, Apr 4 2005, 05:00:58)] ccache version 2.3 [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.4-r1 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.59-r6, 2.13 sys-devel/automake: 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.5, 1.4_p6, 1.6.3, 1.9.4 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r7 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.10-r4 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.8.1-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/lib/mozilla/defaults/pref /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig ccache distlocks sandbox sfperms" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://www.die.unipd.it/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo-sources/" LANG="39" LC_ALL="it_IT" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X a52 aac aalib acpi aim alsa apm arts audiofile avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-fonts bonobo cdparanoia cdr crypt cups curl divx4linux dvd dvdr dvdread emboss encode esd evo examples exif fam ffmpeg flac foomaticdb fortran ftp gcj gdbm gif gnome gnustep gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 guile icq imagemagick imap imlib ipv6 jabber jack java javascript jpeg junit kde libg++ libwww lirc mad matroska mikmod mime motif mozilla mp3 mpeg msn ncurses nls objc ogg oggvorbis openal opengl oscar oss pam pcmcia pdflib perl php png pnp posix python qt quicktime readline samba scanner sdl shorten slang sockets speex spell sqlite sse ssl svga tcltk tcpd tetex threads tidy tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts unicode usb userlocales v4l vcd videos vorbis wifi win32codecs wxwindows x86 xine xml xml2 xmms xpm xv xvid yahoo zlib linguas_it" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LDFLAGS, PORTDIR_OVERLAY

Created attachment 59597 [details, diff] hypermail-2.1.8.ebuild I created an initial ebuild for hypermail. This was tested on x86 by me. The ebuild needs a file called destdir.patch, which I will attach in a minute. See also bug #93482, which is where I first posted the ebuild.
Created attachment 59598 [details] files/destdir.patch This should be included as files/destdir.patch. The ebuild works for hypermail version 2.1.8.
Works fine here!
Created attachment 65791 [details] Ebuild for Hypermail-2.2.0 Great ebuild. Nice work. Bumped to 2.2.0.
hypermail is now in our unofficial overlay: http://svn.gnqs.org/projects/gentoo-webapps-overlay/browser/experimental/www-apps/hypermail Please note that the overlay is unofficial, not a Gentoo project, and not supported. It is intended to provide easier access to new web applications.
(In reply to comment #6) > hypermail is now in our unofficial overlay: > http://svn.gnqs.org/projects/gentoo-webapps-overlay/browser/experimental/www-apps/hypermail > It says : No such file or directory "/experimental/www-apps/hypermail": no such file or directory in revision 31
Sorry, did not yet press the "commit" button :) Now it in (revision 32).
