When I try to use revdep-rebuild, when I have the latest ~arch version of findutils (sys-apps/findutils-4.2.20) installed, revdep-rebuild says aborted on the first step (Collecting system binaries and libraries...) doesn't find anything, and reports success. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install the ~arch version of findutils (4.2.20) 2. run revdep-rebuild 3. Actual Results: Revdep-rebuild says aborted on the first step (Collecting system binaries and libraries...) doesn't find anything, and reports success. Expected Results: Revdep-rebuild find the broken packages and remerges them I fixed the problem by downgrading to the +arch version of findutils, revdep-rebuild now works as expected.
I can't duplicate this on my system that has findutils-4.2.20 installed. Can you re-emerge findutils-4.2.20 and post output from running revdep-rebuild?
Since this works fine on my systems with findutils-4.2.20 installed, I'm going to need the requested info before I can do anything to try to fix the problem.
