Description Akos Ladanyi 2005-04-06 15:36:06 UTC
I'm using glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r1. In /etc/host.conf mdns is set to on, and the domainname is local. Multicas DNS works. After /etc/init.d/nscd start the mdns name resolving stops working.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. check that mdns works
2. start nscd
3. notice that mdns does not work anymore

Actual Results:
mdns does not work

Expected Results:
mdns works, and nscd caches the queries so that not every name resolution
request causes an mdns request and reply
