Description Daniel Lamblin 2005-04-06 13:57:06 UTC
I had a P2 box running 2004.3r2 that I hadn't upgraded anything on for a month.
hearing of 2005.1 I upgraded after syncing, and upgrading portage first.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
upgrading from 4.0.22 to 4.0.24 on a formerly 2004.3r2 P2 box
Actual Results:
tycho / # emerge --update --deep world
Calculating world dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) dev-db/mysql-4.0.24 to /
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) mysql-4.0.24.tar.gz
 * InnoDB support is not selected to be compiled in.
 *
 * If you're upgrading from MySQL-3.x to 4.0, or 4.0.x to 4.1.x, you
 * must recompile the other packages on your system that link with
 * libmysqlclient after the upgrade completes. To obtain such a list
 * of packages for your system, you may use 'revdep-rebuild' from
 * app-portage/gentoolkit.
 *
 * MySQL DATADIR is /var/lib/mysql

your /proc is broken.
go and run 'ps' yourself and you'll see.
