guru_ci has reproduced this issue with version 2.6 - Updating summary.

It seems like zeromq is a dependency that slipped through.

Probably because I forgot to test the use-case in which you have p2pool installed without monerod (which would usually bring in zmq).

=net-p2p/p2pool-2.6-r1::guru should fix this.
