This issue is a specialization of https://bugs.gentoo.org/881037 for the science overlay.


Suggested approach:

- Whenever a download integrity failure is reported, link to this issue, scan the whole tree, and create new package releases;
- In parallel, try to find existing stable downloads;
- In parallel, try to solve the upstream issue.
