I tried to install Gentoo on Acer Travelmate 2200 Laptop.
The Livecd reads fine... 
A chose gentoo kernel and ENTER.
Kernel load and everything looks normal, but I have no keyboard input after that.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Insert Gentoo Livecd 2005.0 on cd tray and boot

Actual Results:  
I have no keyboard input and can't install Gentoo on Acer Travelmate 2200 Laptop.

512Mb RAM

You have zero keyboard input, or just the keymaps are wrong?  Did you try pressing F2 to get the keymap selection?

What if you boot with "gentoo-nofb noapic acpi=off nosmp nolvm2"?
