Description Nuno Alexandre 2005-04-05 09:43:24 UTC
btdownloadcurses.py gives the following message:
,--8<-
Textmode GUI initialization failed, cannot proceed.

This download interface requires the standard Python module "curses", which is unfortunately not available for the native Windows port of Python. It is however available for the Cygwin port of Python, running on all Win32 systems (www.cygwin.com).

You may still use "btdownloadheadless.py" to download.

Then I use btdownloadheadless.py, it seems to work, however the screen updates by scrolling text NON-STOP instead of updating the new values in place.

it's a really old bug against version, which is not in portage for a long time.
can i close it or is it still present in newer versions?
Comment 4 Nuno Alexandre 2005-09-21 07:39:39 UTC

so do whatever you want.
Comment 5 Marcin Kryczek (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-21 13:59:26 UTC
