Description Glenn Duncan 2005-04-04 17:32:49 UTC
I tried to emerege xshipwars, and an error occured:

Clearly an error with string.h in xsw-1.34.0.tar.bz2, specifically the declaration/definition of strcasestr, but I gave this file a quick squiz and niether of those lines have an exception declaration (and in fact a search for "throw" in the file shows no lines at all do).

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge xshipwars
Actual Results:
c++ -c string.cpp  -O2 -mcpu=pentium3 -fomit-frame-pointer -march=i686
-DUSE_XSHM -DHAVE_MWMUTIL_H -DHAVE_LIBXPM -DHAVE_ESD -D__cplusplus -Dc_plusplus
-O2 -mcpu=pentium3 -fomit-frame-pointer
string.cpp: In function `char* strcasestr(const char*, const char*)':
string.cpp:223: error: declaration of `char* strcasestr(const char*, const
   char*)' throws different exceptions
string.cpp:38: error: than previous declaration `char* strcasestr(const char*,
   const char*) throw ()'
make[1]: *** [string.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/var/tmp/portage/xshipwars-1.34.0/work/xsw-1.34.0/client'
make: *** [all] Error 2

I had a clear system while running this emerge, nothing but setiathome and this
running in kde.
