Description José Alberto Suárez López (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-04 03:34:31 UTC
Im using kenrel-2.6.11-5 with media-sound/alsa-driver-1.0.9_rc2 and media-libs/gstreamer-0.8.9-r3 im using ESD becasue dmix doest works for me.
Is an iBook G4
Trying to use rhythmbox to listen music i can only listen one song, when the app try to change to another song i have this errors:
"could not pause playbacks"
"could not open resource for writting"

i dont have any problem with muine (xine be) so i suppose is a gstreamer problem.

What version of gst-plugins and gst-plugins-esd are you using?

Have you tried muine with gstreamer backend and see if you can reproduce with muine?

Also try same with totem
Comment 2 José Alberto Suárez López (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-12 08:41:02 UTC
it is fixed. I just rebuild rhythmbox with the new alsa-libs and it works :)

thanks
