Description Robert Gill 2022-10-30 21:57:52 UTC
I would appreciate it if an ebuild for the Gourmand Recipe Manager could be included in portage. Gourmand is a currently maintained fork of the unmaintained Gourmet recipe manager that was removed from portage a while back. It's been updated to support Python 3.

Thanks, I'll be attempting to create my own ebuild for submission in the meantime.

You can upload your ebuild to an overlay and link it here.

Gourmand depends on a `recipe-scrapers` library that in turn has loads of dependencies that are not in portage. I suppose I'll have to create a new ebuild for each dependency. Any tips on how to proceed?

Please submit new packages to GURU[0].

And yes, you usually need an ebuild for each dependency.
