Yes, the error is identical with the 7667 version.
After dealing with the "hardened gcc" issue with xorg-x11, X does not start because "no screens found". I suspect that emerging nvidia-kernel would solve this, but I cannot do that because of this bug. This bug is leaving me without an X system. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
After unmerging colorgcc the problem went away.
