Description Daniel Seyffer 2002-10-05 07:40:29 UTC
Hi,

Please notice, that there is a new stable release available for gnupg.

Current version in portage is 1.0.7 the new release, released on 21st Sept.,
is version 1.2.0. As the version jump already suggests, there are many new
 features and bugfixes.
For details have a look at the official announcement:
http://lists.gnupg.org/pipermail/gnupg-announce/2002q3/000252.html
and/or at www.gnupg.org.

Regards,

due to the # of duplicate submissions of this guy, ill leave up to you, the
gnome guys, as to whether or not you want to do this now or later (Bug 8216)

Hello aliz, security related, so I think you're the one to handle this :)

is there any reason to update this "now" rather than "later" when it comes down
to it?

Imo this can wait. I'll update gnupg when the freeze is over.
