Do you have DO_NOT_COMPILE set for some reason?
Oops, sorry, problem is solved. I forgot to remove DO_NOT_COMPILE from make.conf
I wasn't sure if "-fforce-mem-ffast-math" was a copy&paste issue or not. The menat flags are obviously "-fforce-mem -ffast-math" and should be "".
A word to your chosen flags: -march=pentium3 implies -mmmx -msse -O3 implies -fforce-mem and -ffast-math is a flag that you shall not use! It's not supported, since it breaks floating point related functions, if the code wasn't written with this flag in mind.
