Hi,

right now I am emerging kstars using split KDE ebuilds, here is some screen output:

Kstars is marked not to be compiled which actually happens:

Comment 3 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-04 02:04:34 UTC
Do you have DO_NOT_COMPILE set for some reason?
Comment 4 spiralvoice 2005-04-04 13:52:59 UTC
Oops, sorry, problem is solved. I forgot to remove DO_NOT_COMPILE from make.conf
Comment 5 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-05 13:20:06 UTC
I wasn't sure if "-fforce-mem-ffast-math" was a copy&paste issue or not. The menat flags are obviously "-fforce-mem -ffast-math" and should be "".
Comment 6 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-05 13:26:02 UTC
A word to your chosen flags:

-march=pentium3 implies -mmmx -msse
-O3 implies -fforce-mem

and -ffast-math is a flag that you shall not use! It's not supported, since it breaks floating point related functions, if the code wasn't written with this flag in mind.
