Description jack_mort 2005-04-02 01:44:59 UTC
When using xclock in digital mode, and passing a strftime parameter, informations displayed aren't in the locale set in the environment. Patch below, found this Debian bug report http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=259423, solves the problem.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.install xorg
2.launch xclock : http://bugs.debianxclock -digital -strftime "%d %B %Y - k:%M:%S" -update 1
3.

Sorry for the little problem in step 2, you should read : xclock -digital -strftime "%d %B %Y - k:%M:%S" -update 1

Is this submitted upstream?
Comment 4 jack_mort 2005-04-04 08:54:54 UTC
Well, I don't know...
Comment 5 Adam Jackson 2005-04-04 09:28:04 UTC
if you haven't filed it upstream yourself, then it isn't.

It seems a patch was included upstream in CVS...
