Description Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2022-10-09 20:46:20 UTC
app-mobilephone/scrcpy got ppc64 keyword some time ago, but I would like to add a dependency on dev-util/android-tools to have adb pulled in and fix bug #802627

Comment 2 Luke-Jr 2022-10-17 13:14:14 UTC
dev-util/android-tools doesn't actually work on ppc64 (as-is) right now, though... :/

#723528

Thanks Luke, and sorry I guess I mistyped when searching for open bugs.

Not the prettiest solution but I will hide the dependency in scrcpy until bug #723528 is fixed (dev-util/android-sdk-update-manager or similar can be used as workaround)

This bug can probably be closed, the newest android-tools bundles boringssl which doesn't include ppc64 support anymore.
Comment 5 darkbasic 2024-03-26 12:53:32 UTC
ppc64 patches for boringssl can be taken from the chromium patchset.
