Description Sven E. 2005-04-01 14:31:01 UTC
I am not sure where to direct this.

xkeyval is a blocker for tetex3, on the other hand, though there is no package depending on xkeyval, nor is it recorded in the world file, a world update wants to reemerge xkeyval. I assumed it to be a dependency loop, but I can't find which causes the loop.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Expected Results:
xkeyval should not be emerged again, since nothing seems to be depending on it,
or if it is neded indeed, it should not be blocking world updates (or tetex3)

Do you have ha-prosper installed? Seems ha-prosper is the
only package which requires xkeyval in dev-tex. xkeyval is
included to tetex-3, so there is no need to install xkeyval
if you plan to use tetex-3. If this is the case, I'll change
ha-prosper dependency to not depend on xkeyval if you have
tetex-3, and then you won't see the error once you remove
xkeyval.
