Since Enemy Territory 2.60 is incompatible with previous versions (can't join a 2.56 server with 2.60), it would be nice to be able to have both versions installed at the same time.

A SLOT is only for applications/libraries that do not conflict.  As Enemy Territory is not designed to run multiple versions concurrently, a SLOT is not the proper way to do this, nor am I going to support it.  It would simply be too much work on my end with very little gains.
