Description Marc Cousin 2002-10-04 00:37:51 UTC
i get cdbakeoven: undefined symbol: __ti7QWidget
after migrationto 1.4rc1
everything else works fine here.
just tried a emerge -e cdbakeoven it didn't solve the problem for me
Comment 1 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2002-10-04 01:11:35 UTC
umm, did you rebuild KDE + QT since the migration ?
whats your USE variable ?
Comment 2 Marc Cousin 2002-10-04 05:50:54 UTC
i did an emerge -e system, an emerge -e world. i think it has rebuilt kde and qt ... but i can do it again if you want me to double-check USE="3dnow alsa arts avi bonobo crypt cups dga doc dvd encode evo fbcon ggi gnome gtk gtkhml imlib java jpeg kde lcms mbox maildir mickmod mmx mozilla mpeg ncurses oggvorbis opengl oss pam perl png qt qtmt quicktime samba sdl slp spell ssl svga tcltk tiff truetype X xface xmms xv zlib"

i've done again today:
- emerge qt
- emerge kde
- emerge cdbakeoven

the undefined symbol is still here...
Comment 4 Hannes Mehnert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-10-04 13:21:07 UTC
please try an emerge kdelibs and an emerge cdbakeoven.
Comment 5 Marc Cousin 2002-10-05 01:49:16 UTC
ok i solved it.
here's what i've done :
emerge kdelibs then emerge cdbakeoven. i still had the undefined symbol
then i unmerged cdbakeoven and re- emerged it, and it solved the problem. weird,
shouldn't the emerge cdbakeoven have been sufficient ?

gcc upgrades are always wierd...
