Hey Chris, Any idea on this machine being out of date? Thanks, Jeffrey # rsync22.us :: Chris Landegent :: chrisl@adnc.com 206.251.252.32
I quit working for the company that owns the server which this resides upon. I just recently started contract work for them and regained access to the servers. Since I haven't been there for over 5 months I'm not sure what is causing the issue, but I'll resolve this on my own time tonight.
I'm taking over Chris server now. I've read the http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/rsync.xml file, should I be syncing to rsync1.us.gentoo.org? do I need a password? The server is currently only syinc'ing the distfiles from gentoo@masterdistfiles.gentoo.org::gentoo Javier
Javier, I'll post directions here on how to get it syncing. I'm going to update your contact for the mirror so you are the person to talk to. Please get that syncing asap as it is a week out of date, so I dont need to start yanking it from rotation and then re-adding it. ----- Standard Blurb Thanks for helping out Gentoo. I have added the IP you specified in the bug to our access database, please start synching to rsync1.us.gentoo.org per our Rsync document at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/rsync.xml. After a period of days I will check to make sure the timestamps are up to date and then add you into the appropriate rotation. We would like you to subscribe to the gentoo-mirrors Mailing List by sending an email to gentoo-mirrors-subscribe@lists.gentoo.org, as we send our notifications of updates, releases, and changes in policy to the mirrors. Once again, thanks for the hardware and bandwidth! For Infrastructure, Jeffrey
