I've observed that this error appears repeatedly when Firefox is in use. [ERROR mp4parse] Found 2 nul bytes in "\0\0" That said, this error doesn't seem to affect any mp4 playing on my computer. Audio and sound both still work as expected. According to this Arch trouble ticket (https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/74741) this issue is caused by pipewire, when using wireplumber; and going back to `pipewire-media-session` fixes this problem. Reproducible: Always
I wonder if this is a Firefox or a Pipewire issue then. But if videos play fine and sound works, it's just noise and nothing serious? I guess this is the upstream bug we want to track for now: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1772085
The upstream bug says this is really not an error, just a mistake in the log message. Anyway this will be fixed in 107, I'll close this bug before I forget.
Awesome! Thanks, Joonas, for your amazing follow-thru and update. 👍
