I have hacked the xfsprogs ebuilds currently in portgage to compile on ppc64, please mark as testing and lets see if we can *FINALLY* get xfs onto ppc64 (maybe 2005.1) ;-)

i dont know what profile you're using (since you neglected to provide `emerge info`), but it sounds like an outdated one

PLATFORM should not be set in your env ... ive gone ahead and ripped out that crap finally
