When I emerge ifd-gempc it complains about an odl libusb but a recent version is installed.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge ifd-gempc (~x86)
2.
3.

WRONG VERSION OF LIBUSB!
Your version of libusb is not correct (too old?). You must use version
0.1.6a or superior.
You can get it from http://libusb.sourceforge.net/ or from a package of
your operating system distribution

also libusb is not mentioned as dependency of ifd-gempc
Comment 1 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-29 12:54:03 UTC
reassigning to crypto because of study/moving commitments. http://dev.gentoo.org/devaway
Comment 2 Marcelo Goes (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-03 15:01:20 UTC
I can confirm the problem.
Things seem to work, however, with libusb-0.1.10a and ifd-gempc-0.9.3.
Comment 3 Daniel Black (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-21 05:18:34 UTC
thankyou - fixed as per Marcelo's suggestion
