Emerge fails with a problem related to a library.
I was doing
   emerge -aDvu rsync
after a previous emerge -aDvu world had failed on rsync.

Tail of emerge output follows

.exe.so
rm -f winemine.exe.so && ln -s winemine/winemine.exe.so winemine.exe.so
rm -f winepath.exe.so && ln -s winepath/winepath.exe.so winepath.exe.so

Please remerge jade then try this again.
Comment 3 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-03-29 05:47:04 UTC
has nothing to do with wine
Comment 4 Kevin O'Gorman 2005-03-29 11:15:38 UTC
Created attachment 54780 [details]
typescript of emerge session, including jade and wine (the latter failing)

As requested, I re-emerged jade before trying again. No joy.
Complete typescript attached.
Comment 5 Kevin O'Gorman 2005-03-29 11:21:57 UTC
This was closed because it "has nothing to do with wine", but that
doesn't mean the problem went away. Please indicate something helpful
about where the problem might lie, or forward it, or whatever seems
most helpful.

As shown in the new attachment, it is still the wine emerge that is failing.

Comment 6 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-03-29 14:01:49 UTC
still has nothing to do with wine

you want to re-emerge openjade, not jade
