Portage 3.0.36 is pretty new but very few changes from 3.0.35 and 3.0.32..3.0.36 have been pretty much just regression fixes and tweaks (3.0.30 -> 3.0.31 was a big gap, so I'm not surprised, and nothing has been too serious). Motivation for getting this done now is that 3.0.31 contains a fix for EAPI 8 which may affect metadata generation for IDEPEND in some cases and that matters more now that kernel-install.eclass uses it (but I hadn't realised it affected generation there, or I'd have done this sooner).
