When you ask Kuitoo to quit, either using File -> Quit or the window close icon / menu option, it does not quit, but instead minimizes to tray. If this is intended, for an application that runs as root, I feel this to be an unacceptable behaviour, and at the very least there should be an option to exit instead of minimizing to the system tray. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In Kuitoo, go to File -> Quit 2. 3. Actual Results: Kuitoo minimizes to tray Expected Results: Kuitoo should exit Portage 2.0.51.19 (default-linux/amd64/2004.3, gcc-3.4.3, glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r1, 2.6.9-gentoo-r14 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.9-gentoo-r14 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 Python: dev-lang/python-2.3.4-r1 [2.3.4 (#1, Mar 20 2005, 13:54:16)] dev-lang/python: 2.3.4-r1 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.5, 1.8.5-r3, 1.4_p6, 1.9.4, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.10-r4 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.8.1-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig ccache distlocks sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://ftp.mirrorservice.org/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/ http://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/ ftp://mirror.switch.ch/mirror/gentoo/ ftp://ftp.gentoo.mesh-solutions.com/gentoo/" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="amd64 X acpi alsa apache2 arts avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-fonts bzlib cdr crypt cups curl divx4linux dvd dvdr esd fam fbcon flac font-server fortran gif gpm gtk imlibipv6 java javascript jp2 jpeg junit kde libwww lm_sensors lzw lzw-tiff mad motif mp3 mysql mysqli ncurses nls ogg oggvorbis opengl pam perl php png python qt quicktime readline sdl sqlite ssl symlink tcpd tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts usb userlocales vhosts xml xml2 xmms xpm xrandr xv zlib linguas_en_GB" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS
Are you referring to app-portage/guitoo or app-portage/kuroo?
I'm referring to app-portage/kuroo - my apologies for the confusion.
No problem. Anyway, you should report this bug directly to the kuroo author, we cannot do much for it...
can i say that kuroo hates the alarm clock in the tray, wont start if its there, so maybe starting that will fix it.
