configure is unable to find libxml when dev-libs/libxml is not installed.
this version should have depend on dev-libs/libxml instead of dev-libs/libxml2

also, a new version has been released (0.5.2). maybe this one works with dev-libs/libxml2

version bumped by myself - 0.5.2 still doesn't work with libxml2.
