Hi. Earlier today I upgraded to the masked Grub 0.92 because I needed a bug fix that was causing fallback to not function properly. After I upgraded, I noticed my splash image was no longer loading. I played around with it for an hour, and wasn't able to get it to load. I had 2 other people confirm that the splash image does not work on .92. It appears that there is no Splashimage support in the .92 ebuild, or the splashimage support is broken. I am unsure which patch adds splashimage support, so I can't give any more details. Sorry. -PJ http://www.elitegamer.com
Oh. I forgot to mention my system setup. Sorry about that. Gentoo 1.4_RC1, GCC 3.2. The kernel is Gentoo-Sources -r9. My make flags are as follows. USE="X -gnome -kde -arts -oggvorbis -xmms" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-march=pentium3 -O3 -pipe" CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
Fixed in grub 0.92-r1.
