There's gui-apps/wofi::guru, and dev-libs/bemenu. I'm not sure that this is necessary, especially since it would require using a new upstream while the current upstream is still active.
Wofi is not maintained any longer (https://hg.sr.ht/~scoopta/wofi): This project is not being actively maintained. I currently do not have the time nor energy to continue working on it Yeah was not sure how to handle the right way since it is a fork from rofi.
